Andrea Bedeau

“I've been a member of TWCU Credit Union Co-operative Society Limited (TWCU) for 30 years. With over a decade of experience as a GDP Processor specializing in Research and Analysis, I embarked on an MSc in Public Sector Management during the pandemic, completing it in 2022. This experience bolstered my confidence to take on a more active role at TWCU. As a member of the CSO, I represented the organization and Trinidad and Tobago internationally, honing my presentation, group work, and analytical skills. Serving on the Credit Committee, Secretary of Education Committee, and as Alternate to the Board of Directors further deepened my understanding of Credit Unions and fueled my desire to contribute. Given the chance to serve as Director, I aim to actively participate in shaping TWCU into a forward-thinking, proactive organization, primed to excel in today's economic landscape.”​ 


Sharon Bonval

With over two decades of dedicated service in the credit union movement, I have gained invaluable insights and experience that span various sectors within the financial industry. My tenure at Cuna Caribbean Insurance, coupled with my role as Administrative Officer I at TWCU Credit Union, has equipped me with a deep understanding of risk management, compliance, and operational efficiency.

During my time at TWCU Credit Union, I led initiatives aimed at not only enhancing performance and productivity but also ensuring member satisfaction remains a top priority. As the approved AML/CF Compliance Officer, endorsed by FIUTT, I played a pivotal role in implementing and prioritizing compliance measures to safeguard the Society's interests and maintain regulatory compliance.

I prioritize professional growth through active participation in annual AML/CFT Conferences, staying updated on industry trends. My educational background, including a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and an Associate Designation from the Life Office Management Association Inc., highlights my dedication to excellence and continuous improvement.

Transitioning to a Director role allows me to utilize my experience to support the society's vision and strategy. I'm keen to work with the Board to set objectives, prioritize member values, and foster innovation for long-term success and growth.


Camille Carasquero

I Camille Carasquero am a recently retired Credit Service Supervisor, with over 32 years of experience in Credit and Customer Service at TSTT. I have been a member of TWCU Credit Union since 1991.  My Service to TWCU Credit Union over the years is as follows: 

  • 1. Alternate to the Board of Directors 2013 – 2022 
  • 2. Alternate to Credit Committee 2013 -2023 
  • 3. Member of Supervisory Committee 2008 – 2012 
  • 4.Member of the Education Committee 1998 – 2008, 2014 – 2023

I attained a BA (Hons) in Business Studies.  I have also Participated in courses offered by the Credit Union League, and many courses offered at TSTT. 

I have been a member of Toastmasters International since 2005.  I am also a member of Lions International.  I am also an Executive member of Diego Martin Athletic Club. I am also involved at my Parish Church, St John’s R C in Diego Martin. 

I believe in servant leadership.   My service to this Society speaks to my level of commitment, I am extremely committed in all my undertakings.  I bring my business acumen to the table and would like to see continued growth and development of the Society.


Dyan Charles

I have been a credit union member for the past 16 years.

I presently hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Education as well as a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis on Entrepreneurial Management. I currently work as a Customer Service Advocate at the TSTT/Bmobile Experience store in Lowlands Tobago. Working in customer service over the past 15 years has allowed me to anticipate customer needs and come up with practical and realistic solutions to their problems.

I believe this skillset can assist in coming up with new and innovative financial solutions to meet the needs of all our stakeholders as we build our “one family”. I am especially interested in targeting our young middle-income members to help them see the benefits that this credit union brings.


Reina Frampton-Timothy

I have been a member of the TWCU Credit Union Co-operative Society Limited for more than 20 years. During this period, I have served the Society in various statutory and non-statutory capacities, including as the Supervisory Committee Secretary, Credit Committee alternate, Board of Directors alternate, Chairman of the Marketing and Public Relations committee, and Member of the rebranding committee. Currently, I am serving as Secretary of the Youth Arm Development Committee and Marketing Committee.

Education: I hold a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Marketing from Anglia Ruskin University and an MBA in Digital Technology Management from the University of Bedfordshire (UoB). Organization & Profession: In my present role as a Senior Business Executive in the Emerging Services and Innovation Division at TSTT I am involved in the organization’s product development, implementation, and digital adoption of SaaS solutions with a focus on FINTEC development.

As a People Leader and Senior Business Executive, in the Telcom industry, I have gained relevant experience in my field, which has equipped me to take on the responsibilities of the roles I am seeking to fill.

I am passionate about serving the Society and giving back to my community. I enjoy working with youths and sharing experiences in this ever-changing community. I believe my contribution has been impactful, and I can leverage my knowledge and experiences within the financial ecosystem to add value and insight to the Society.


Onica Gray-Blackman

Onica K. Blackman has been a member of TWCU Credit Union Co- operative Society Limited since 1999. She holds a BSc (Hon) in Information Technology from the University of Hertfordshire and has been employed with the Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago for over 25 years.

During her tenure at TSTT, Onica has performed in various management roles, including Enterprise Sales, Marketing, Communications, and Customer Service. She currently serves as the Manager of Tobago Operations.

Onica has also gained extensive experience by being involved with the Credit Union Society for over 12 years, where she has held different positions, such as Chairman of the Education Committee, Director on the Board, Assistant Secretary and Secretary of the Board, and Vice President of the Board. This has allowed her to receive training in Credit Union Governance, Compliance, Investments, Risk, Anti- Money Laundering, Debt Management, and Leadership among others.

With her vast experience in customer service, marketing, and corporate communications, along with her knowledge of Credit Union Management, Onica is passionate about bringing her expertise to the TWCU Credit Union Co-operative Society Limited and contributing to its growth and success.


Ingrid Jack

I am Ingrid Jack, a mother of two, grandmother of three and a proud active member of the TWCU Credit Union Cooperative Society Limited. for the past 50 years.

Early financial management for my family, money-raising activities at Girl Guides and St. Augustine Girls, and other experiences led to my tendency to do a lot with little. My interest in financial institutions and business administration was piqued. The appetite for all things HR grew when I was selected to assist the job evaluation team at TSTT. This resulted in an avalanche of service which is reflected in my membership in the Mother's Union, Curepe Community Council and St. George East Branch Association.

Serving became my mantra. My attraction in the credit union industry was ignited by attending the Telephone Workers Credit Union's Annual General Meetings. This led me to the Supervisory Committee, where I reviewed the and attest to the Society’s finances. I was eager to learn and willing to assist.

I currently serve as a Director, Credit Committee Secretary, HRIR Committee Secretary, Delinquency Committee member and Governance member. I will continue to use my knowledge and experience to positively transform TWCU members. I shall persist in advocating for succession planning and instilling in the younger and more recent members the importance of financial conservation. In the future, I'm eager to train the TWCU family and use my wealth of knowledge to assist in maintaining the Society’s vision.


Ian Kendell

My name is IAN KENDELL, I have been a member of the T.W.C.U Credit Union since 1979.
I am originally from Sans Souci, Toco where I first got involved in organisation and leadership, as a member and officer of the youth group, the county association, and the National Youth Council.
I studied Telecommunication engineering at JDTI and Co-operative studies at the Cipriani College of Labour. I was the president of both the Eastern and Senior Staff North branches of the Communication Workers Union and retired as a manager of TSTT.
My aim, if successful, is to see the Credit Union grow its membership and investment portfolios.


Lisamarie Ransome Douglas

Lisamarie Ransome Douglas is a Subject Matter Expert in Human Resource Management with over twenty-two (22) years’ experience. Accomplished in transforming inefficient departments, streamlining staff management and improving performance. Excellent team leader with a proven ability to work within budgets, boost retention rates and optimize staff productivity.  Mrs. Ransome Douglas has been a member of TWCU Credit Union for over fifteen years. She served previously on the Education Committee where she helped in the research and development of educational programs for members.

   

Currently she sits on the Board of Directors and Credit Committee as an alternate, HR/IR and Risk Committee as a member where she lends her expertise. Prior to arriving at TWCU Credit Union Mrs. Ransome Douglas served on the Supervisory and Education Committee at another Credit Union. Mrs. Ransome Douglas earned her MBA in Business Management from Anglia Ruskin University where her thesis focused on Customer Service Transformation.  She has held multiple leadership roles as an Advisor for GLIMS Learning Academy and Supervisor at Telecommunication Services of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (TSTT). Mrs. Ransome Douglas currently volunteers her time at the National Parent Teachers’ Association as a Regional Executive Officer and in her community as a Tutor.


Hamilton Scoon

With over thirty-five years of experience in Credit Union management, I am a reliable, resourceful, and energetic customer service professional dedicated to serving the members of TWCU and fostering relationships within the Credit Union movement. My tenure in the industry has equipped me with the skills to provide tailored financial advice, cultivate member relationships, and develop innovative programs to advance membership engagement and satisfaction.


Prior to my career in Credit Union management, I spent thirty-three (33) years at TELCO/TSTT, where I held roles ranging from Technician to Senior Engineer, and eventually served as Acting Manager and Officer in Charge of various Exchanges in North Trinidad. This extensive experience provided me with a deep understanding of telecommunications infrastructure and operations.


In addition to my hands-on experience, I have served as a board member for thirty years, actively participating in decision-making processes during board meetings. My comprehensive knowledge of both Credit Union management and telecommunications uniquely positions me to offer strategic insights and contribute effectively to organizational growth and development.


I am passionate about leveraging my expertise to drive positive outcomes for both members and organizations alike, and I am eager to continue making meaningful contributions in the field.


NOMINEES FOR SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE




Isaiah A Douglas

Isaiah Douglas have been a member of TWCU Credit Union for twenty years. As a youth member he has participated in numerous Education Courses and Seminars. He is currently a member of the TWCU Youth Arm. His experience lies in Auditing where he previously worked at Nicki Cream Limited and Chag Management Limited as an Accountant performing accounting principles and practices. 

As an Assistant teacher at Lower Morvant Government Primary School with two years experience and guided by the approved programme, Mr. Douglas prepares lesson plans and other deliverables as instructed by the Ministry of Education.  

Mr. Douglas held multiple leadership roles as an Instructor at Purple Dragon World Headquarters and Supervisor at ZMT Designs Limited. He has received numerous awards for Accounting, Education, Organization and Team Building from St. Mary’s College and the Ministry of Sports.


Brigitte Loregnard-Morales

I have been a proud member of the Credit Union for the past three years.

Having worked in fast-paced environments for more that 20 years, I bring to the table refined administrative abilities and thrive in these fast-paced office environments. My positive outlook, amicable disposition and good discernment enable me to handle a variety of responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Personally, I’m a caring, responsible, family oriented, God- fearing person.

I’ve done exceptionally well academically in the computer field, with notable achievements in computer studies, typewriting and Microsoft Office.

Within my community I offer assistance to the less fortunate and assist in church activities. Giving back is a cornerstone of my values and character.


Peridot Webster

I have been a member of the Credit Union for the past twenty (20) years. I hold a Bachelors of Arts degree in Media and Communications, from the University of Greenwich with additional certification in protocol and event management. Within the corporate space, I am currently a Quality Management Advocate at TSTT, where our department is tasked with ensuring external vendors follow the Quality guidelines as set out by the company.

In 2012, I was awarded TSTT’s Most Outstanding Employee in the area of Customer Service and Marketing. Outside of TSTT, I am currently the Director of Membership of the Association of Female Executives of Trinidad and Tobago (AFETT) and a member of the Anglican Education Board of Management (AEBM).

In the realm of Entrepreneurship, I have been in business for the past seventeen (17) years of Peri’s Plus Ltd, a bra boutique that manufactures undergarments, retails bras and provides bra fittings for women. For my efforts, I have won the Young Woman of the Year and Young Business Woman of the Year 2012. In 2021, I won the Entrepreneurship World Cup (Trinidad and Tobago) and placed third (3rd) in the Caribbean. Additionally, in 2021, I was placed in an incubator programme to pitch my business idea in Saudi Arabia. My second business venture, SPEAK Enterprises offers Master of Ceremony and voice over services. Currently, I am the voice of TSTT’s IVR and welcome messages. Leaving a legacy of excellence, faith and service coupled with laying a strong foundation for generational wealth for my family are my guiding principles.

It would be my honour to serve, learn and add value to the Credit Union as the Board of Directors and members would see fit.

Lorna Maycock

Lorna Maycock is dedicated to serving members of the TWCU Credit Union Cooperative Society and the Cooperative movement in Trinidad and Tobago. With extensive experience in Credit Union Management and cooperative governance, I ensure efficient documentation and communication as Secretary to the Board of Directors. My involvement in the Credit Committee ensures responsible lending decisions. As Chairperson of the Youth Arm Development Committee, I foster the growth of young members through educational initiatives like the TWCU Youth Debate Competition, promoting critical thinking and cooperation.

In my broader cooperative roles, I serve as Vice President of the Northwest Regional Chapter and as a member of the Supervisory Committee for the Cooperative Credit Union League of Trinidad and Tobago Limited. My Educational background includes Degrees in Law and Credit Union Management, coupled with certifications in mediation, accounting, and broadcasting. Proficient in Microsoft suite, Teams, and social media platforms, I leverage technology for efficient communication and collaboration.

In my retirement, I volunteer in the Cooperative movement, using my expertise to advance cooperation and community development. Committed to values of teamwork, democracy, discipline, integrity, and dedication, I pledge to uphold these principles in any capacity at TWCU.
